I am glad that the brother lived. But it has got to be the most painful experience for the family. They must have felt completely helpless and miserable during the three days that he was in a coma. I still cannot see why the nurse made that remarks that the brother is not going to be better tomorrow. I can’t imagine that she thought that that would help them feel better.

I like how the author thought that Worth’s brain was trying to reassemble itself. In a lot of movies that I saw, the doctor would tell the family that the patient has lost the will to live, and so they won’t. I wonder if Worth was actually conscious of the fact that he really was going to die, and he did not want to and tried to fight back. He met Huck on the anniversary of Mark Twain’s death, which make me wonder if he actually realize that when he was alive. I don’t think a lot of people pay attention to that. If he didn’t know that it was the anniversary, and yet he met Huck in his vision, then I think that is quite amazing.
